    The training will teach you how to:

  • Understand the complexity and diversity of a community
  • Recognize historically critical cultural group relationships
  • Use cultural group analysis to frame productive debate
  • Establish group guidelines for effective multicultural dialogue
  • Recognize the interplay of multiple forms of modern oppression
  • Understand the influence of history on the moment
  • Explore personal beliefs and attitudes about other cultures
  • Share cultural identities and histories
  • Learn interpersonal behaviors that work across group
  • Conduct effective action-planning in diverse groups
